Hi! I’m Cam

I didn’t build Rooted because I believe I have life figured out. I built it because I know what it’s like to lose yourself trying to become the man you think you’re supposed to be.

I’m Cam, the founder of Find The Line and creator of Rooted.

My work centers around helping men better understand themselves—why they react the way they do, why relationships can bring out parts of them they barely recognize, and how to become more grounded in who they are instead of allowing fear, rejection, or someone else’s choices to define them.

My background has put me alongside people in a variety of high-pressure and deeply personal environments, including work with students with significant behavioral needs, law-enforcement training, trauma-informed education, and now private coaching with men navigating relationships, identity, faith, and major life transitions.

But I don’t believe good coaching means pretending to have every answer.

I’m not a therapist, and I won’t pretend to be one.

What I will do is listen, ask difficult questions, challenge you when you need to be challenged, help you recognize the patterns you keep repeating, and give you practical tools to start responding differently.

My Christian faith deeply shapes the man I’m working to become and the way I approach this work: with truth, grace, accountability, and the belief that your past may explain parts of your story—but it doesn’t have to dictate the man you become next.

Rooted exists because men deserve a place to be honest about what they’re carrying without being shamed for it—and challenged enough to actually do something about it.
